Classic and fun Myers Manx style 1969 VW Beetle conversion. Car is a blast to drive and runs well. My son and I replaced the aftermarket electric fuel pump and recently replaced the carburator. We are selling the car to help pay for college.
Car has odd history. The VIN number on chassis is 119119078, originally titled as 1969 VW Beetle as confirmed by Alabama DMV when we registered it. I am not the original owner nor the original converter. The car has a 1600cc motor which appears to have been a swap. Motor appears to be from a 1972 Beetle, but I cannot confirm. Car is/was last registered in Alabama which does not title cars over 30 years old, so no title, but transfer by bill of sale. I do have the last title from when I purchased the car from an owner in New Jersey. When we bought, we were told the car was also previously titled in Arizona by a previous owner. I have all those documents and will provide at sale.
